Field engineering. Vertical curves design to meet existing bridges and avoid future <br />discrepancies. MSE wall and bridges lay out. Volume calculations. <br /> <br />Hallandale Bascule Bridge <br />Hallandale Boulevard <br />Senior Party Chief for this project for the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4, which called for the <br />construction of a new double-leaf bascule bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway, at Hallandale Beach, Florida. <br />The phasing of the project called for the construction of a new westbound span north of the existing structure, <br />removal of the existing structure, a shift of traffic and construction of the eastbound structure. The types of <br />construction in the project included a bascule bridge, cast-in-place box girders, conventional AASHTO girders and <br />reinforced earth walls. Establishing horizontal and vertical control.
