C. Specific Project Experience <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Degrove has completed this monitoring survey on six occasions for beaches in Nassau <br />County, the northern most beaches on Florida’s east coast. Some of these surveys tasks <br />included construction monitoring as the government’s surveyor representing the USACE. <br />The surveys required us to complete topographic/hydrographic profiles survey meeting <br />the requirements of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) <br />“Monitoring Standards for Beach Erosion Control Projects”. The survey included of up to 47 <br />lines beginning approximately 150 feet landward of the published or physical location of <br />the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) monument and extending easterly <br />approximately 3000 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. In addition a hydrographic survey of a <br />four square mile borrow area located approximately 2 miles offshore was completed for <br />survey #06‐145. We utilized RTK GPS, A Motion Reference Unit (MRU) to adjust for heave <br />pitch and roll and Hypack hydrographic data collection and processing software to <br />complete the hydrographic survey. The uplands were surveyed using a combination of RTK <br />GPS and robotic total station. <br /> <br /> <br />Project Name: Survey #08-078 Ft. Pierce Beach SPP Monitoring Surveys (USACE Survey #08‐078) – St. Lucie County, Florida <br />(Survey No. 06‐122) – After beach nourishment had been completed we were tasked with <br />completing a topographic/hydrographic profiles survey meeting the requirements of the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) “Monitoring Standards for Beach Erosion Control <br />Projects”.
