Jerrod was responsible for the site plan and landscape plan. The Aldi grocery store chain recently broke <br />into the South Florida market and began looking for sites in South Florida for their distribution center. After extensive site <br />selection reviews, Aldi chose a site in the Village of Royal Palm Beach for their regional distribution center. WGI was <br />responsible for processing land use, zoning, variances, waivers, site plans, master plans and landscape plans for the <br />development of the 800,000sf warehouse distribution center as well as for the 20,000sf flagship stand-alone store. WGI <br />represented the numerous application requests before the Technical Review Committee, the Planning & Zoning Board, the <br />Architectural and Aesthetic Review Committee and the Village Council. Jerrod worked closely on the conceptual design at each phase of development and was responsible for all <br />the renderings and construction documents. Jerrod was responsible for hardscape, landscape, and lighting design, from conceptualization through <br />construction documentation and administration. The project was presented before the Community Appearance Board to gain <br />approval of modifications to the fitness center, clubhouse, and tennis facilities. Scope of work included the site planning, land <br />use representation, landscape design, recreation pod design, GPS tree location, tree disposition analysis, and tree alteration <br />permitting. Jerrod was responsible for hardscape, landscape, and lighting design, from conceptualization through <br />construction documentation and administration. Located on 1,100 meticulously manicured acres in Palm Beach County the <br />Polo Club provides its members with two premier championship golf courses, a nationally recognized tennis facility with 29 Har- <br />Tru courts, a 35,000-square foot world-class spa and fitness center and a myriad of social and dining activities. Working with <br />the architect, WGI Land Design Services helped to create a resort style environment which included hardscape selections for <br />the beach entry pool, waterfalls, spa and other design features. Carefully selected plantings and design elements create an <br />elegant tropical theme throughout the pool area.
