<br />Environmental Specialist. As a subconsultant, WGI Land Design Services was involved in the inception of the design to provide
<br />Master Plan studies, developing research for funding and budget issues, as well as conducting workshops with regional
<br />specialists in environmental permitting for the development of this facility in a pristine environment. Land Design Services
<br />produced all construction documentation for the boardwalk system, signage, parking, and helicopter pad.

<br />Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent. Rick performed a Gopher tortoise burrow survey on the property to identify quantity and
<br />locations of burrows in order to estimate Gopher tortoise population on the property. Rick assisted in the permitting with Florida
<br />Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for the relocation of the Gopher tortoises to an adjacent preserve area. Finally,
<br />Rick assisted in relocating the tortoises through bucket trapping and mechanical excavation methodologies.

<br />Environmental Specialist. As part of a continuing contract with St. Lucie County, Rick has prepared multiple Phase I and II
<br />Environmental Site Assessments during the County’s due diligence period for land acquisitions. Rick was responsible for
<br />carrying out the research and investigation of the properties to identify any recognized environmental conditions (REC’s) that
<br />may indicate the presence or threat of soil and groundwater contamination. Rick also assisted in performing and preparing the
<br />Phase II site investigation on the Roberts Preserve property investigating the presence of chlorinated pesticides and petroleum
<br />products in the soil of a farm located along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River.

<br />Certified Arborist. Rick prepared a tree inventory of all the existing street trees within the Oakland Park Blvd. Right of Way
<br />(ROW) documenting species, size, condition and location. Rick then prepared a tree mitigation plan identifying those trees to be
<br />preserved in place, relocated or removed from the ROW and permitted the actions through the affected municipalities.
