BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Oscar Wind Park currently consists of athletic fields, playground and lakefront walking trail. As part of the Parks <br />Capital Improvement Program, the City of Sunrise is proposing to purchase property north of the park that will <br />expand the park and connect it to Sawgrass Sanctuary Park. The improvements will include 100 new parking <br />spaces, 150 stabilized grass parking spaces, construction of a new 15,000 sf multi -purpose building, new covered <br />basketball courts, new playground, new restroom building, boardwalk at lake and a canoe/kayak launch. Craven <br />Thompson provided site plan design and illustrative renderings with character imagery. The provided graphics <br />were utilized by the City to help pass the bond needed to provide funding for the renovations. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
