Add a new Policy under Objective 2 as follows: <br /> <br />20. The City shall plan for inland open space and recreational opportunities in consideration of on-going <br />depletion of beach recreational areas due to erosion and the limitation on providing recreational improvements <br />and facilities in shoreline areas exposed to storm surge and destruction by direct and unprotected exposure to <br />hurricane wind damage. <br /> <br />2. Amend Policy 8L. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 8L. The physical Post Disaster Redevelopment Plan is to rebuild cause redevelopment of the City in <br />accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. The operational Post Disaster Plan will be prepared by May 31, 2001 <br />and reviewed and updated annually prior to each hurricane season. <br /> <br />3. Amend Policy 8T. as follows: <br /> <br />Policy 8T. The applicable provisions of the Sffitth Florida Building Code, as it exists in August 1997, <br />relating to hurricane precautions, inspections and permitting are hereby adopted by reference. <br /> <br />29 <br />
