(SCP) is pleased to offer the following professional services <br />related to the new Government Center Facility to be located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. This <br />proposal includes an outline of Architectural and Engineering services, delivery schedules and <br />professional fees as discussed in our teleconference with the Division of Management Services <br />on July 6, 1999 and reviewed by the City today. <br /> <br />Based on our conversations we understand the scope of work to apply to a project having the <br />following characteristics: <br /> <br />· A Government Center Site of 1.58 acres contiguous with an F.D.O.T. 1.40 acre site not <br />presently owned by the City (which may be used as a possible park area). An F.D.O.T. 1.37 <br />acre site, also contiguous with the Government Center Site. <br />· A new 75,000 gross square foot Government Center building to include a police facility, a <br />10,000 square foot library (shell space only), and a 1000 square foot post office. <br />· Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Facility -architectural features only. Engineering not <br />included, Site utilities for this portion of the work other than water, sewer, and storm <br />drainage is specifically excluded. Estimated cost of construction is $150,000. <br />· Total conslruction cost excluding Ff&E is estimated to be approximately $9,900,000. <br /> <br />Basic services to be provided by SCP will include Master Planning, Architectural/Interior design <br />and in.house Engineering for normal Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and <br />Electrical for a permit set of documents. SCP will make submissions to the Client at the <br />completion of Master Plan, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction <br />Documents, These services and other contract issues are described in detail in State of Florida <br />Department of Management Service Agreement Between Owner and Architect-Engineer <br />(hereafter referred to as the Contract). This fee proposal is based on our using this contract form, <br /> <br />Basic service compensation for your project will be provided on the basis of a lump sum fee of <br />$752,936 which is inclusive of the Master Planning / Pre-Schematic Design Phase. <br /> <br />flOO l10llglas Entrance.
