Debra Shaffer <br />DEBRA SHAFFER received her Masters Degree in Community Planning in <br />1979 from the University Maryland. <br />In 1992, Debbie began her tenure 'with The Chesapeake Group, Inc. Since <br />becoming involved with the firm, Debbie has been involved on a part-time basis with <br />tabulations and data collection for telephone, patron, and other surveys in a host of <br />areas. <br />Prior to joining TCG, Debbie was a Research Analyst for another economic analysis <br />consulting firm. In this capacity, she: <br />• performed market analyses related to various types of uses - <br />office, industrial, institutional, and residential - for public and <br />private clients; <br />• participated in all aspects of the work effort, including <br />demographic analyses and preparation of projections for future <br />demand; <br />• performed field surveys of residential and non-residential <br />development in suburban and urban settings; <br />• interviewed office space and apartment owners, various small <br />business owners, real estate brokers, residential and commercial <br />builders, etc.; and <br />• wrote reports. <br />Prior to her private sector experience, Debbie worked for the Baltimore County Office <br />Ce of Planning and Zoning where she assisted in the analysis and coordination of <br />revitalization projects, including the Liberty Action Plan and other public -private <br />partnership efforts. <br />THE CHESAPEAKE GROUP, INC. <br />8516 GREEN LANE, BALTIMORE, MARYLAND 21244 <br />410-265-1784/(FAX)410-521-0480 <br />
