REQUIREMENTS FOR EXISTING IRRIGATION SYST M ON C COUNTRY CLUB <br />DRIVE & AVE TURA BLVD. <br />1. The irrigation system is a looped, fully charged system maintaining downstream pressure <br />of 80 PSI. <br />2_ The irrigation system consists of approximately 3.6 miles of 6" PVC, schedule 40 main <br />line, 2 miles of 4" PVC, schedule 40 main line, 28 miles of 3" PVC sub -main, and 3.6 miles <br />of 2-1/2" sub -main. These sub -mains feed the following: <br />A.14 Toro Monitor 11, hydraulic and electric controllers, located throughout the <br />property - up to 23 zones per controller_ <br />3_ All lateral zones start with 2" or 1-1/2" pipe and descend accordingly. <br />4. All irrigation repairs of 2-1/2" or larger must use high pressure PVC cement and be <br />stressed -blocked, all irrigation repairs of 6" or larger must use mechanical 5/8", threaded, <br />repair couplings, and all 6" 90's and 45's may need to be installed using concrete pour. <br />5. All breaks in irrigation system sub -main (2-1 /2" and above) must be isolated in the field <br />in order to shut down a section of the loop and not the entire loop. <br />6. Al isolation valves will be cast-iron, mechanical valves; NOT typical spindle valves. <br />7_ All controls to be calibrated and all zones to be inspected on a weekly basis. <br />8. After all main -line repairs, system must be bled to release all air that may be present in <br />the pipes in order to prevent air -hammering. <br />9.
