The Contractor shall <br />exercise extreme care before and during construction to locate and flag these lines so as to <br />avoid damage to the existing lines. Should damage occur to an existing line, the Contractor <br />shall repair the line at no cost to the Owner. <br /> <br />u <br /> <br />n 1.02 PROVISIONS FOR THE CONTROL OF DUST <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />LJ <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Sufficient precautions shall be taken during construction to minimize the amount of dust <br />created. Wetting down the site may be required or as directed by the Engineer to prevent <br />dust as a result of vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />LJ <br /> <br />n 1.03 RELOCATIONS <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />n <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the relocation of structures, including but not <br />limited to light poles, signs, sign poles, fences, piping, conduits and drains that interfere <br />with the positioning of the work as set out on the Drawings. The cost of all such <br />relocations shall be included in the bid for the project and shall not result in any additional <br />cost to the Owner. <br /> <br />1.04 WARRANTIES <br /> <br />n <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />LJ <br /> <br />rI <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />rI <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />rI <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />LJ <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />06/05 <br /> <br />L.J <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />All equipment supplied under these Specifications shall be warranted by the Contractor and <br />the equipment manufacturers for a period of one (1) year. Warranty period shall commence <br />on the date of Owner acceptance. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />The equipment shall be warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, design and <br />materials. If any part of the equipment should fail during the warranty period, it shall be <br />replaced in the machine(s) and the unites) restored to service at no expense to the Owner. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />The manufacturer's warranty period shall run concurrently with the Contractor's warranty <br />or guarantee period. No exception to this provision shall be allowed. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />In the event that the manufacturer is unwilling to provide a one year warranty commencing <br />at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a two <br />(2) year warranty starting at the time of Owner acceptance of the equipment. <br /> <br />01030-1 <br /> <br />03-4138.8 <br />
