<br />Additionally, the SMTP Plug-in can notify additional recipients of activity or In activity within the system If
<br />SDLC's work processes were not accomplished within a designated time frame, other systems users
<br />would be notified through email The work event could then be rescheduled or assigned to another
<br />system user
<br />
<br />Automatic Email Notification and Response: The SMTP Notification Plug-in is configured by the
<br />Workflow Administrator with a notification frequency, acknowledgement timer and recipient lists. This
<br />Information IS stored in an easily maintained and modified table to keep track of changing personnel and
<br />hierarchical reporting structures. When an event is detected that reqUires notification, the SMTP agent is
<br />used to send the initial emall notification(s) to SOLC's system users An acknowledgement timer verifies
<br />the receipt of the message by tracking document activity within LaserFiche. If no activity is detected, the
<br />SMTP agent sends another message to the alternate person on SOLe's work list, alerting them of the
<br />inactivity
<br />
<br />Document Searching: After full text Indexing, the DIMS allows user to perform simple word searches,
<br />phrase searches, Boolean searches, proximity searches (words or phrase within X_ words, paragraphs, or
<br />pages from another word or phrase), and wildcard searches, and can use 'Fuzzy logic' when
<br />accomplishing a text search Electronic files can be text searched using the same methods The DIMS
<br />can combine template field searches, folder/document names, and/or word searches to narrow the scope
<br />of the desired search.

<br />The DIMS displays the results of word searches ranked by the number of hits per document. Context
<br />lines for each search hit are also displayed in the same window Word and index search results can be
<br />configured to display document name, security, data volume name, creation date, date last modified, page
<br />numbering, object 10, location, document type, total OCR'd pages, and if document has been word
<br />indexed to allow searches.

<br />Additionally, Index and word searches display the template field titles and field values for each document
<br />The search results screen can be sorted based on template field titles and associated field values. After
<br />selecting a particular search 'hit', the user IS taken directly to that page, and the word and/or phrase are
<br />highlighted in the user selected color. Image and text. By selecting the 'N' key for 'Next' and the 'P' key for
<br />'PrevIous', the user can migrate from 'hit' to 'hit' throughout the document, Image and text The 01 MS can
<br />pnnt a 'hit' list of template and/or word searches (with associated context Irnes for word searches)

<br />The DIMS provides an intuitive user interface with common Windows file menus, buttons for typical
<br />functions, and a user defined tool bar When viewing a document, the user can display image only, text
<br />only, thumbnails only, fields only, or any combination of the mentioned displays (eg., Image and text,
<br />image and fields, image and thumbnails, etc) Images can be displayed in bitonal or Scale to Gray
<br />(preferred) at 'fit to width', full size, or various zoom percentages Using the thumbnail View, the user can
<br />manipulate pages Within a document or create new documents.
