<br />The School District of Lee County, I=lorida - RFP # 6211 <br />Document Imaging System <br /> <br />August 5. 2004 <br /> <br />In this phase, project administrators, departmental users, and IT staff will be trained in all project <br />technologies and work processes that are applied in the project departments. Group discussions, work <br />process demonstrations, and 'Hands on' methods will be utilized <br /> <br />R&S' expenence with other customers In Similar environments has proven that training on the LaserFiche <br />solution can be accomplished within the space of one week for all users, The system is straightforward <br />and simple to use for casual and operational users System administration is not difficult or complex <br />either, as can be attested to by many of our eXisting clients <br /> <br />R&S' approach to the training process results in a scenario of 'Train the Trainers' Between the <br />LaserFiche DIMS ease of use, and the training provided by R&S, System administrative staff and senior <br />operational users become capable of prOViding training going forward, However, through the use of the <br />on-site work days prOVided by R&S as part of the Annual Support and Maintenance Agreements, SOLC <br />may request that that time be spent prOViding additional training to SOLC staff members <br /> <br />7.0 ESTIMATED PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br /> <br />Project Implementation - As a part of thiS proposal effort, R&S Integrated IS including a general project <br />implementation plan that will allow SOLC to gain an understanding of our time estimates for a project of <br />this scope <br /> <br />R&S IS committed to accomplish SDLC's RFP project requirements In a timely fashion, uSing this <br />estimated project schedule as a basis and time frame R&S Integrated and its principals understand the <br />overall objectives of this project are to deliver, Install, integrate and configure the DIMS solution, and to <br />train the vanous users and administrators in the function and application of the proposed DIMS as <br />speCified in SDLC's RFP R&S Integrated and its principals are committed to perform the work and <br />provide the technology as stated in thiS RFP response and proposal <br /> <br />Based upon Information contained In SOLC's RFP, and prOVided as answers to questions posed regarding <br />the RFP, R&S will prOVide a DIMS project solution that supports approximately 20 concurrent Read-Only <br />system users, and 4 concurrent Read/Write system users, Additional user licenses can be added one or <br />more at a time to support additional concurrent users. Access to the system through the use of the <br />LaserFiche Weblink component and a standard Internet browser utilizes the same pool of concurrent <br />Read-Only licenses as any client software Installed on a desktop, The solution will also establish <br />document scanning and indeXing work processes, integrate with existing systems and data sources, and <br />provide scanning for approximately 40,000 documents per month (estimated 500,000 pages per year) with <br />support for growth of over 100 percent. <br /> <br />R&S Integrated Products and Services, Inc. <br /> <br />Page 26 <br /> <br />e f.~~ <br />a r" <br />~~ <br />
