We
understand that a pile load test will be performed in accordance with the South Florida Building
Code to twice the design load. Nutting Engineers previously performed a geotechnical
exploration for this project, and our findings and recommendations are presented in a report
dated June 16,2004"

Based on our understanding of the project, we propose the following scope of work and fee
schedule.

SCOPE OF WORK

We will provide full-time monitoring of the installation of the test/reaction piles and production
augercast piles, provide instnunentation and direct the pile load test. Based on the results of the
pile load test, we will provide final installation criteria for the production piles. A log of each
pile will be kept and will include depth, size, grout take, steel reinforcement placed, and other
pertinent information.
