<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |ITB No. 16-09-01 18 <br /> <br />3.4 HOURS OF OPERATION <br /> <br />Contractor shall at a minimum, provide for the operation of the facility six (6) days per week, <br />from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. <br /> <br />3.5 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. The contractor shall be solely responsible for City vehicles and equipment while in their <br />possession for maintenance and/or repairs. <br /> <br />B. Vehicles left at contractor's facility during non-business hours to complete service must be <br />stored in a secure area. <br /> <br />C. All minimum safety standards required by Municipal, County, State and Federal ordinances <br />and laws shall be strictly met by the contractor. <br /> <br />3.6 ESTIMATES <br /> <br />Bidder shall provide written, "not to exceed" estimates on any repair. The estimate will include <br />the estimated number of hours, hourly rate, estimated material cost and completion date. It will <br />be the bidder's responsibility to ensure they have all the equipment and materials to provide <br />accurate estimates. The contractor shall perform no work before authorization is provided by the <br />City's Fleet Manager or designee. <br /> <br />3.7 HOURLY RATE <br /> <br />The hourly rates quoted shall include full compensation for labor, equipment use, and any other <br />cost to the bidder. <br /> <br /> <br />3.8 QUALITY OF PARTS TO BE FURNISHED <br /> <br />Parts furnished to the City shall meet or exceed the quality of the parts furnished originally for <br />the equipment (OEM). However, if the original manufacturer has updated the quality of the parts <br />for current production, parts supplied under this contract shall equal or exceed the updated <br />quality. Failure to provide Items of such quality will be cause for rejection and / or return of said <br />Item. The burden of proof and cost of analysis will be the Contractor's. There will be no re- <br />boxing of parts. <br /> <br />Rebuilt I remanufactured parts will have been dismantled and reconstructed as necessary: all <br />Internal and external parts cleaned and made free from rust and corrosion; all Impaired, <br />defective, or substantially worked parts restored to a sound condition or replaced with new, <br />rebuilt, or unimpaired used parts; all missing parts replaced with new, rebuilt, or unimpaired used <br />parts; and such other operations performed as are necessary to put the pro duct in sound working <br />condition. Rebuilt or used parts must conform to the manufacturer's reconditioning tolerances. <br />
