These improvements to the right-of-way 'outside' the curbs can
serve a multitude of purposes - enhance the pedestrian realm including
bringing the area up to current ADA standards; allow for, encourage and plan
for redevelopment of property along the corridor and more importantly, help
create an identity for the City of Sunny Isles along its most important corridor.

Streetscape projects such as Collins Avenue require a team with experience
dealing with the detailed design issues that will need to be confronted in the
corridor, as well as experience in dealing with access issues that are inherent
to projects within an established retail environment. The EDAW / APCTE team
has the experience and technical expertise that will be required to meet the
above stated goals and make this project a success for the whole of the City of
Sunny Isles.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Collins Avenue Streetscape
To provide professional urban design and engineering services to design a
streetscape for the west side of Collins Avenue that runs the entire length of
the City.
