Sidewalk design and materials <br /> <br />. Street tree type, location, and spacing <br /> <br />. Street and sidewalk lighting, location and spacing <br /> <br />. Preliminary details and strategies for creating additional rooting space <br />under the sidewalks. <br /> <br />. An estimate of probable costs for the final schematic design <br />documents. <br /> <br />. EDAW shall present the final schematic design documents in a public <br />meeting forum to gain feedback on materials selection and overall <br />streetscape design. The timing of this meeting will be discussed with <br />the City to set an agreed upon date. Presented materials will include <br />but may not be limited to: <br /> <br />o Proposed layout of the final streetscape establishing tree <br />locations, paving materials, light locations, site furnishings, <br />information kiosks, and enhanced landscape areas. <br /> <br />o Materials selections for pedestrian paving <br /> <br />o Materials selections for street and sidewalk lighting <br /> <br />o Options for information signing and wayfinding design <br /> <br />o Options for street furniture <br /> <br />Design Development <br />EDAW to meet and walk the project limits with the Client / Project Manager to <br />review the scope of work and the opinion of probable costs. <br /> <br />EDAW to prepare design development documents using the previously <br />approved schematic design concept and cost estimate as a beginning point, <br />incorporating any necessary revisions or changes as discussed at the <br />meeting(s) with the Client / Project Manager. <br /> <br />EDAW will incorporate the following items into the design development <br /> <br />documents: <br /> <br />. Sidewalk design and layout <br />. Street tree type, location, and spacing <br />. Decorative street light type, spacing <br />. Street furniture zone layout, design and materials <br />. Information Kiosk design and materials <br />. Analysis of existing curb (repair or replace) <br />. Traffic lane width analysis and configuration (parking & loading) <br />. Location and layout of proposed curb cuts / driveway aprons <br /> <br />EDAW INe DESIGN, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTS WORLDWIDE <br />
