The structure, which includes 12 rental car companies, <br />is a nine-story facility that accommodates 9,000 cars and <br />a full range of rental car concessions and visitor parking. <br />Connections to the terminals are achieved with a pedestrian <br />bridge and a dedicated busway for shuttle buses. Myers, Florida <br /> <br />The 3.400-car garage for Southwest Florida International Airport <br />consists of three levels and a total of 1,290,000 square feet. <br />Level One of the garage is dedicated to consolidated rental car <br />operations for 1,100 rental cars inclusive of 27,000 square feet <br />for car rental administrative purposes. Levels Two and Three, <br />totaling 2300 cars, are designated for short term public parking. <br /> <br />Spill is Candela DMJM was the lead Design Architect for the <br />Parking Garage which needed to be compatible with the <br />new adjoining 28-gate Midfield Terminal complex for which <br />Spillis Candela DMJM provided comprehensive Architectural, <br />Engineering and Interior Design services. <br /> <br />Services: Architecture, engineering, interior design <br /> <br />No. of Cars: 4,500 cars, 3 levels <br /> <br />Palm Beach International Airport Parking Garage <br />Phases I & II <br />West Palm Beach, Florida <br /> <br />Phase I of this 630,000 square foot, 1 ,834-car parking structure <br />was designed on a fast track basis and completed under <br />budget and on-time. The parking master plan allows for <br />expansion up to 9,000 vehicles. The facility was designed with <br />a precast structural system using concrete panels designed to <br />aesthetically integrate with the new Palm Beach International <br />Airport Terminal Facility. A separate Revenue Control Building, <br />walkways connecting to airport terminals and surface parking for <br />an additional 1 ,000 cars were constructed.
