BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size and cost)

This project consists of a mixed-used development situated on a 6.81-acre parcel, in a prominent site located on
Red Road, housing approximately 250 apartments, a "shell" for a grocery store of 30,000-40,000 SF, and struc-
tured parking to accommodate the proposed development. The scope of services includes Conceptual Design I
Zoning Submittals incorporating comments, suggestions and design modifications to the project. Wolfberg Alvarez &
Partners provided architectural and engineering services for two parking garages totaling 950 spaces for a mixed
use development housing 405 residential units and several retail facilities.

The primary garage to accommodate the residential component is a five level, pre-cast concrete structure encapsu-
lated on three sides by the residential development to usually conceal it from the adjacent and residential areas.
The fourth side faces an FPL sub-station and was designed to be as open as possible to introduce natural light and
ventilation. The secondary parking garage is a two-level below grade structure primarily slated to satisfy the parking
requirements of the retail and office areas. The garage is completely integrated with the rest of the structure and is
completely concealed by the habitable areas of the building. Due to its location below the water table, the garage
was designed to resist hydrostatic pressures and waterproofed structural components.

Cost-$90,000,000

~
iJ I

25.
