RELEVANT PROJECTS <br /> <br />Project Coordinator: U.S. Postal Service Environmental Consulting Services in Five Southeast U.S. States, , <br />Southeastern States. Environmental consulting services for postal facilities and properties in five-state Southeast <br />Area (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee). Initial work involved environmental spill cleanup at <br />hydraulic dock lift station at Surfside Branch, Miami Beach. Responsible for site field activities, communication <br />with county regulatory agency, writing and submitting the Limited Contamination Assessment Report. By <br />communicating with the client regularly, the project was completed with timeliness, in spite of difficult obstacles. <br />Fees: $100,000. Estimated Completion: 7/29/2006. <br /> <br />Project Scientist: D.R. Horton Nationwide Real Estate Portfolio Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, <br />Nationwide Locations, Texas. Environmental services since 1993 performing Phase I Environmental Site <br />Assessments for a national builder of custom-built homes, numbering over 100 tracts of land typically ranging from <br />5 acres to 160 acres, including performing Phase II ESAs when indicated. Responsible for performing Geoprobe <br />direct push services for field personnel to collect soil and groundwater samples at the site. Fees: $16,700,000. <br />Estimated Completion: 12/31/2005. <br /> <br />Project Scientist: DME Corporation Commercial Site Groundwater Remediation Design, Development, O&M, Fort <br />Lauderdale, Florida. Performed site remediation, involving removal and destruction of dissolved chlorinated <br />hydrocarbons by the groundwater pump and treat technique and treatment of pumped groundwater by air stripping, <br />for a 3-acre site. RAP compared remedial design alternatives and site constraints and provided customer with most <br />cost effective and timely design. Lowered contaminant levels by three orders of magnitude from system startup. <br />Services included quarterly and annual groundwater sampling and reporting; negotiations with local regulators and <br />managing client risk; and system O&M / optimization. Responsible for performing system optimization and O&M; <br />prepared project reports, spreadsheets and drawings. Fees: $50,000. Estimated Completion: 12/1/2005. <br /> <br />Project Scientist: Chevron Corporation Tutu, St. Thomas Site Remediation, Tutu, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Site <br />remediation involving removal and destruction of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons by SVEIDPE and air sparging <br />techniques and treatment of extracted vapors by catalytic oxidation at a half-acre retail building site. Performed <br />TPDES permitting and monthly well gauging and reporting, quarterly groundwater sampling I reporting; and site <br />closure negotiations with EPA and local regulators. Responsible for conducting site field activities including <br />groundwater sampling and O&M ofremedial system. Fees: $139,300. Estimated Completion: 12/31/2004. <br /> <br />Project Scientist: Chevron Corporation Grand Cayman Island Groundwater Sampling and Site Remediation, <br />Georgetown, Grand Cayman, . Environmental services for site remediation involving recovery of free-phase <br />petroleum product by both active (drawdown) and passive (in-well skimming) techniques and treatment of pumped <br />groundwater. Site includes three office buildings and 16 large, bulk storage tanks on approximately 5 acres. <br />Developed and operated multiple free-product recovery systems in bulk storage terminal facility. Remedial action <br />design reused existing, client-owned remedial equipment, reducing installation costs. Product recovery enhanced by <br />active water table depression along with passive free product skimming in independent wells implemented to <br />address free-floating petroleum product plume. Approximately 6,000 gallons of free product have been recovered (as <br />of 2004). Responsible for performing site field activities including groundwater sampling and operation / <br />maintenance ofremedial system. Fees: $521,180.
