<br />703. SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />703.1 Conservation District (CNS) <br /> <br />703.1.1 Pur,pose. The Conservation (CNS) District is intended to protect and conserve <br />environmentally sensitive areas that are to be left in an essentially natural state. <br />Only those activities and uses that reinforce this character and are compatible <br />with the continuing conservation of the natural resources located within this <br />district are permitted. <br /> <br />703.1.2 Permitted Uses. No building or structure, or part thereof: within the district <br />shall be erected, altered or used, or land used in whole or in part for other than <br />one or more of the following specific uses subject to all other applicable <br />standards and requirements contained in this ordinance: <br /> <br />(a) Passive outdoor recreational uses such as wildlife sanctuaries and feeding <br />stations, nature centers and trails, outdoor research stations and walkways. <br /> <br />(b) Fishing, boating and camping facilities by conditional use approval, <br /> <br />(c) Structures used for flood contro~ drainage and water storage. <br /> <br />(d) Wetlands and wildlife habitat reconstruction. <br /> <br />(e) Uses which do not impair the natural environment or disturb the natural <br />ecosystem of the area and which are not in conflict with applicable water <br />management and wildlife protection policies of local, state and federal <br />agencIes. <br /> <br />(f) Waterways. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach-Land Development Regulations <br />Adopted December 10,2002 <br /> <br />ZONING DISTRICTS 700- 4 <br />
