<br />,- <br /> <br />This criteria is provided to assist the Proposers in the allocation of their time and efforts during the <br />submission process. During the evaluation process, City reserves the right, where it may serve the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach's best interest to request additional information or clarification from <br />Proposers. Short listed proposals may be selected for an interview prior to a selection being made by <br />the City Manager. <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach reserves the right to waive formalities in any proposal and further <br />reserves the right to take any other action that may be necessary in the best interest of the City. <br />The City further reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, with or without cause, to waive <br />technical errors and informalities or to accept the proposal which in its judgment, best serves the <br />interests of and represents the best value to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />1.7 SCHEDULE FOR CONDUCTING AUDITS <br /> <br />During the second and third years of the Financial Auditing Services contract, the Auditor <br />shall complete each of the following no later than the dates indicated below. As a result of <br />the proposal due date for fiscal year 2010 (first year of the contract), these dates will be <br />determined by mutual agreement during contract negotiations. <br /> <br />1. Interim Work <br />The Auditor shall complete interim work by August 31st. <br /> <br />2. Detailed Audit Plan <br />The Auditor shall provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach by July 31 S\ both a detailed audit <br />plan and a list of all schedules to be prepared by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />3. Fieldwork <br />The Auditor shall complete all fieldwork by December 31 st. <br /> <br />4. Draft Reports <br />The auditor shall have drafts of the audit report and recommendations to management <br />available for review by January 15th. <br /> <br />5. Date Audit May Commence <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach will have all records ready for audit and all management <br />personnel available to meet with the firm's personnel as of November 15th of each year. <br /> <br />6. Date Final Report Is Due <br />The auditor will deliver the opinion letter, management letter, and all final requested <br />reports on or around January 30th of each year. The final report and the 25 signed <br />copies should be delivered to the Finance Director, 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles <br />Beach, Florida 33180. <br />
