<br /> <br />I <br /> <br />architecture . engineering <br /> <br />NSU CRITICAL SHORTAGE BUILDING <br />Davie, Florida <br /> <br /> <br />The Critical Shortage Building is planned for the <br />Nova Southeastern University Davie Campus to <br />address the growing needs of the Health <br />Professions Division. The project is a ten story <br />building consisting of approximately 300,000 SF <br />of new construction located over and between the <br />Lab Library, College of Dental Medicine and Ziff <br />Clinic. <br /> <br />The design provides expansion program spaces <br />for the Library, College of Pharmacy, Allied Health/ <br />Nursing, Dental Medicine, and College of <br />Osteopathic Medicine. The spaces include com- <br />puter labs, classrooms, seminar rooms, and two <br />250 seat auditoriums. There are simulation labs, <br />simulation surgical rooms, multi-purpose rooms, <br />and the required support spaces. In addition, <br />there are operatories for various dental programs, <br />including pediatrics.
