<br /> <br />I <br /> <br />architecture . engineering <br /> <br />SDPBC OKEEHEELEE MIDDLE SCHOOL <br />Greenacres, Florida <br /> <br /> <br />The project is approximately 91,000 gsf <br />and included special attention to on-site <br />underground environmental issues and <br />less than normal soil load bearing capac- <br />ity. <br /> <br />Education specs for the facility include a <br />state of the art, stand-alone media center <br />building with book stacks, carrels, rooms <br />for small reading groups, listening and <br />remedial reading, food service cafeteria, <br />auditorium building and multiple class- <br />room buildings. <br /> <br />In addition, the scope included the com- <br />plete remodeling of the existing 1960's <br />vintage classroom building to meet new <br />school population needs and life-safety <br />codes.
