Hollywood, Florida. The project comprised the total reconstruction of the right-of-way of Hollywood Boulevard from Young Circle west to 21st Avenue. The plan combined the modern day requirements of the area, with the historical character of its founding in the 1920's, with new pavements, lighting, signage, banners, plantings, traffic signals, and parking. A State Route was diverted off of this portion of Hollywood Boulevard to provide a more pedestrian friendly area for the local merchants and the citizens of the City of Hollywood. 19.
