ACAI has been contracted to provide Architectural services in the further development to the City of Miramar's Ansin Park. This new one story, 9.000 sq. ft. facility is the second phase to Ansin Park. Continuity to our previous designed, the Baseball Pavilion, also located at this park. Its main function will be to support daily park administration serving as a community center and the adjacent 5,000-seat track and field area. It also includes stadium seating screen wall. As community center the areas programmed will be game, computers, lockers and a large multi-purpose room that can be divided into two spaces. Special features include a second floor press area/observation room, clock tower with electronic information board, and main covered porte-cochere at the entry. This Mediterranean Architectural style follows the style standards of the City. After the Assessment was completed, coordination of required repairs began. ACAI was responsible for the design work, as well as managing the completion of repair work. The Air Rescue Fire Fighting Facility (ARFF) is a consolidation of the city's multiple Fire Fighting activities under one roof. Housed in 24,000 sq. ft. of space the facility includes apparatus area, the City's west Emergency Operations Center, and Fire and Rescue Training Facilities. The two story structure contains fire department related offices, kitchen facilities, and sleeping quarters for 12 firefighters. The facility has been designed to handle airport runway emergencies as well as land-side and City fire emergenci~s and is serviced by an emergency generator to prevent any disruption of service to the community. This turn-key project involved over 5,000 bus stop locations and included design and construction services. This project entails the Design/Build reconstruction and expansion of existing ramp toll plazas for express lanes as a prototypical modernization of the statewide Toll Collection System. The new prototype includes a three-dimensional iconic gateway gantry arch, along with highly stylized metal accented roof structures. The project scope consists of removing asphalt and concrete pavement, installation of landscape, roadway reconstruction and installation of collection gantries and other associated equipment and features. This project is being completed under the Florida Turnpike Enterprise Program and is being constructed in phases in order to minimize traffic inconveniences. The first assignment is the delivery of High School JJJ in Coral Springs, Florida. Project responsibilities include programming, developing Educational Specifications and a full set of Criteria Documents for the Design/Build delivery of this $27,000,000, 2,580 student station facility. 19.
