(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size. cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [8J Check if project performed with current firm In the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma, the County made emergency selection of three design professionals in order to aid in the rebuilding process of the damaged buildings. ACAI was contracted to assist with damage assessment and full design services to County facilities including the BSO Jail, BSO Stockade, North Broward Detention Center, Northwest Branch Library, Vinette Carroll Theater and the 19th Street Mental Health Facility. ACAI Associates served under a 5 year (extended to 6 1/2 years) Open End, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract with the GSA to provide unlimited Architectural/Engineering and Construction Management services. The work includes Courthouses and Federal Buildings throughout the Southeast Florida region and was expanded to include Ocala and airports (for TSA). Services provides include Architectural/Engineering, Interior Design, Historic Preservation, Planning, Programming, Structural repairs and Construction Manaaement. 19.
