<br />Mr. Lurie was the Project Manager of this new 21 O,OOO-square-foot, K - 8th grade school, accommodating 1,642 students. Designed
<br />for the Miami-Dade County Public School system, the program of this $36 million school included classrooms, a media center, a
<br />cafeteria/auditorium and administrative areas, as well as music, art, and science laboratories.

<br />School, two new freestanding covered shelters feature food serving bays and vending machines. Both shelters total approximately
<br />5,000-sqaure-feet. At Norwood Elementary and Parkway Elementary, 2,500-square-feet of covered physical educational shelters and
<br />500-square-feet of covered walkways and storage facilities were designed and constructed for both schools.
