The building is 5 floors with the top floor only occupying half the floor. The new design is water cooled chilled water system with new variable air volume air handlers with electronic DOC controls. The new air handlers is located within the same mechanical rooms increasing the size as need to provide clearances for the units. The project included the demolition and removal of all interior walls and the HV AC system. The electrical engineering included design for empty raceways for security, data and telecommunications systems. The project achieved basic certification with the U.S. Green Building Council LEED@ for Commercial Interiors.
