<br />drilled shafts, over the Intracoastal Waterway, along with widening of 5 miles of approach road supported on organic soils improved by dry soil mixing.
<br />Provided geotechnical engineering, over water and land soil borings, 4-inch diameter rock coring, rock coring, lab testing, drilled shaft installation
<br />inspection, foundation evaluations, foundation construction inspection / quality control laboratory testing and utility coordination services.

<br />Responsible for ensuring quality in over 300 construction materials testing and inspection reports, and maintaining client interaction and satisfaction.
<br />Scope: Environmental site assessment and geotechnical services provided at existing 720,480-SF senior-level school facility to determine site
<br />preparation tasks required prior to construction of additional school facility at site. Arsenic-impacted soils identified during project Phase I, requiring
<br />regulatory negotiations for site cleanup, development of remedial action plan, and oversight of source removal. Site assessment continued for Phase
<br />II.
<br />iJ Professional Engineer: Miami-Dade Public Schools P-I Site Environmental Site Assessment, Miami, Florida. Responsible for providing single point of
<br />contact for all project related issues including technical recommendations, reporting timeliness, and invoice quality control. Scope: Environmental site
<br />activities to determine site preparation tasks necessary to construct school facility on vacant parcel adjacent to 10 acres of jurisdictional wetlands.
<br />Obtained the required wetlands permits for off-site mitigation. Provided field oversight and a geotechnical evaluation to verify that all much was
<br />removed.

<br />iJ Field Supervisor: Florida Department of Transportation Drilled Shaft Installation Inspection Services, Pembroke Pines, Florida. Responsible for
<br />material testing and inspection. Scope: Inspections of drilled shaft installation (mast arm borings) for S.R. 823 from the Miami-Dade County line to
<br />Flamingo Road in Broward County.
<br />iJ Field Supervisor: Fairfield Inn / OTO Development, LLC Construction Materials Testing / Monitoring and Foundation Recommendations, Fort Pierce,
<br />Florida. Responsible for material testing, inspection, and assisting with invoicing. Scope: Construction materials testing and monitoring, threshold
<br />inspection services, geotechnical evaluation and foundation recommendations for construction of new four-story, 50,400-SF hotel where geotechnical
<br />evaluation and soils analysis revealed poor soil quality which would indicate soils are subject to excessive settlement from structural loads.
<br />Recommended vibro-replacement (stone) columns to control settlements and allow for shallow foundations.
