Mr. Alvarez's PBS&J project experience includes: Wolfson Campus Building 9000 Renovation Design Services, Miami, Florida (Miami Dade College IMDCn. Designer responsible for preliminary analysis of building loads and deflection for various structural systems. This project involves architectural and engineering design services for the Wolfson Campus Building 9000, which is situated on a demolished one-story 4, I 00- square-foot support service building site that is proposed to be transformed into an eight-story culinary arts building with a wine tasting center, plus a mechanical equipment roof level. The work involves mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and conveyor systems; circulation spaces; hardscape and landscape design; engineering coordination with adjacent overhead Metromover track, Metromover right-of-way, and existing MDC chiller lines; design and coordination of new and existing support utilities, new structural components with existing adjacent structures, maintenance of traffic, and construction staging; design of signage and graphics; and full construction administration servIces. Publix Super Markets Architectural and Engineering Services Master Contract, Florida - Statewide (Publix Super Markets, Inc.). Designer responsible for performing CAD design for approximately 250 Publix remodels during a 12-year span with PBS&J. This master contract with Publix Super Markets consists of architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering services including design, construction documentation, and shop drawing reviews for the renovations of existing Publix stores.
