MEI also performs a variety of right of way survey services including
mapping, control surveys and monumentation.

Bridge Inspection: Our Bridge Inspection Team performs a wide variety of structural
inspections as well as bridge design, load rating analysis and stream scour surveys. Our
inspections range from simple flat slab to fracture critical and segmental bridge structures,
we also inspect all types of culverts, overhead signs and high mast lights. Our team's
bridge inspection staffs are all Florida Certified Bridge Inspectors (CBI) as well as certified
divers. Our inspectors are continuously updating their training so we can provide our clients
with the best possible product. Some of the training our inspectors receive include; fall
protection, maintenance of traffic, confined space entry, Pontis Bridge Management,
concrete and materials testing and non- destructive testing procedures. We have a full
staff of structural engineers that work closely with our inspectors when developing load
rating analysis or designing repair plans. This inner department partnership has led to new
and innovative ideas such as incorporating GIS arc-view into the bridge inspection reports
and repair designs that include inspector notes that assist with construction.

Utility Coordination: Over several years, our firm has had the privilege of working in the
field of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and has acquired extensive experience that
will be valuable to the City.
