Raine was Lead
Engineer and investigated the location of existing plant
utilities at Brunner Island Generation plant in the area
designated for the installation of Flue Gas
Desulphurization (FGD) facilities. He initiated a
drawing reyiew and prepared an electronic map
depicting the location and depth of cO\'er for all existing
utilities in the subject area. The information will be
utilized by the FGD design engineers during site
de\'Clopmen t.

Dominion - Chesterfield Emission Enhancement
Projects - Piping Relocation Project (2003 to 2004).
Shaw is the selected contractor to Engineer, Procure and
Construct (EPC) se\'eral emission enhancement projects
related to the Chesterfield Generating Station,
Chesterfield, VA. As part of this project, t\Ir. Raine was
Lead E-:ngineer during the preparation of specifications
and drawings necessary to contract the supply,
fabrication, installation and testing of fuel oil, waste
water and fire protection piping relocations, including all
required steel pipe supports and their foundations at the
Chesterfield Station. The piping relocations were
necessary to complcte a secondary containment dike to
surround the existing Unit No.8 Fuel Oil Tank. The
piping relocations have been completed.

Tennessee Gas Transmission - Pipeline Appraisal-
Schoharie County, NY (2003 to 2005). Mr. Raine
prepared a detailed capital cost appraisal for one 8500
hp, natural gas compressor station and approximately 55
miles of natural gas transmission pipelines in Schoharie
Coun ty, New York. The appraisals arc part of
continuing litigation between Schoharie County and
Tennessee Gas Transmission over property taxation
\'aluations. ~lr. Raine will provide expert testimony
during future court appearances representing Tennessee
Gas Transmission.

I SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL, INC.
OGC 122006T

Iroquois Natural Gas Transmission System (1999 to
2004). t\Ir. Raine was Project Engineer for Iroquois Gas
Transmission S\'stem's (IGTS) Eastchester Extension
Project. During the permitting phase, he assisted in the
preparation of the FERC Enyironmental permit.
During detailed design, he \vas the Project Engineer and
Professional Engineer responsible for the mechanical
design of five gas compression facilities totaling over
40,000 horsepower, approximately 1-1/2 miles of 24"
transmission pipeline and a 360 mmscfd natural gas
metering and pressure regulation (M&R) facility. During
construction, he was the Resident Engineer responsible
for the technical installation and operation of the t\I&R
facility.

Hunts Point t\letering & Pressure Regulation Facility -
At the terminus of the Eastchester Extension marine
pipeline, S&W designed a natural gas metering &
pressure regulation facility located at the existing
Consolidated Edison of NY's Hunts Point Compressor
Station. The facilit\, was designed to meter, preheat and
control the tlow of IGTS gas sales into Con Ed's
\,\'estchester latcral. Gas sales arc measured through a
24" ultrasonic tlow meter. Gas preheating is
accomplished \'ia two (lOOo!" redundant) 20
mmBTU /hr, Johnston hot \vater heaters. [-!cat is
exchanged \vith the process gas through t\vo (1000/0
redundant) shell and tube heat exchangers. Flow control
and pressure regulation is performed through three (SO'Yt,
redundant) runs of Fisher control vakes.

Eastern Shore Natural Gas (2000 to 2001). As
Project Engineer, Mr. Raine was responsible for the
preliminary and detailed design of a 3,300 horsepmver
mainline natural gas compressor station in Daleville,
Pennsvlvania. The gas compressor station consisted of
two, Caterpillar G3606-LE-TI\-130 natural gas engines
rated to 1,665 bhp @ 1,000 rpm driving t\vo, Ariel
JGC/.f, t\vo throw, single stage, reciprocating natural gas
compressors. The duration of the project was
approximately one year and had a budget of $8 million.

North Carolina Natural Gas (1998 to 1999). [\s
Project Engineer, t\Ir. Raine was responsible for the
design and construction of a 3,300 horsepower mainline
natural gas compressor station in Clayton, North
Carolina. The gas compressor station consisted of t\vo,
Caterpillar G3606-LE-TA-130 natural gas engines rated

BRUCE R. RAINE D
