As Lead ~Iechanical Engineer, was responsible for the design calculations, specifications writing, system modeling, carbon and stainless steel piping design, heating and ventilation design, and onsite construction field engineering for a $6.5 million liquefied natural gas plant vaporization system. During the design, he prepared process and instrumentation diagrams and detailed mechanical installation piping drawings for hot water/ ethylene glycol, liquefied natural gas, instrument air, heating and ventilation, and natural gas fuel piping systems. He also prepared contract specifications and prepared all mechanical nkes and equipment purchasing specifications. During construction, he received all equipment, made field moditlcations, and inspected the work of the ~[echanical Contractor. This plant has been in operation since October 1993. Granite State Gas Transmission, Incorporated (Mar 1992 to Dec 1992). As Lead t\[echanical Engineer, he designed 1-1/2 miles of 12"-.312" wall thickness, high tensile strength natural gas pipeline in Newington, New Hampshire. I-Ie prepared the construction installation specification, specified line pipe, \'akes, coatings, and construction procedures. He prepared and re\'ie\ved drawing details and pipeline alignment sheets. During the construction phase, he was onsite as Pipeline Ins pector \vorking wi th the ins talla tion con tractor inspecting all work for conformance with the specification. As a part of this project, he inspected the installation of 3,000 feet of 12" carbon steel and 8" polyethylene pipe installed from a transmission pipeline to a local electrical pO\ver producer. He also assisted in the inspection of a natural gas pressure reduction and metering facility at the same power station. North Country Pipeline Corporation (Nov 1991 to Dec 1991). Raine assisted in a field pipeline alignment sur\'CY for a future 12" high pressure, natural gas pipeline associated with a co- generation facility to be built in Platts burgh, N ew York. l\Ir. Raine walked most of the pipeline right-of-way and marked the proposed alignment, met with the local landowners and prepared all road crossing detail drawings. Raine supervised the generation of computerized pipeline alignment drawings and details. Designed one cased road and railway crossing plan and se\'eral hydraulic structures allO\ving water to flow into the Ohio River.
