hand auger and direct-push technology, soil screening
with OVA-FID, groundwater sampling, soil conductivity
investigations correlated with cliscrete soil sampling, and
generation of contamination assessment reports.

Project Geologist - Numerous FDOT District 2
Underground Storage Tank Removal (UST) and
Closures. Efforts included contaminated soil
delineation, air monitoring, soil and groundwater
sampling, assisting in transport and disposal, and
generation of UST closure reports.

Project Geologist - FDOT 2, Fuller Warren Bridge,
Jacksonville, FL. Location, removal, and disposal of
creosote wood pilings. Efforts included location and
exploration for pilings, contaminated soil delineation, air
monitoring, and assistance in transport and disposal.

09/2000 - 02/2001

Project Geologist - FDOT Proposed Retention
Ponds, St. Johns County, FL. Phase II investigation
that focused on potential arsenic soil contamination,
Efforts included soil borings using hand auger and
Geoprobe@, detailed lithologic descriptions, and
generation of contamination assessment report.

Project Geologist - Former Storage Tek, Palm Bay,
FL. Extensive groundwater sampling event. Included
sampling of over 45 monitoring wells using micropurge
technique, use of YSI multiprobe to collect groundwater
parameters, and collection of groundwater elevations,

Project Hydrologist - Sarasota Maintenance Yard,
Sarasota, FL. Efforts included aquifer testing using
standard and pneumatic slug tests, groundwater
sampling with peristaltic pump, and soil boring
installation with Geoprobe@.

Project Hydrologist - Former Moore Haven Road
Prison, Moore Haven, FL. Tank removal and closure
and soil remediation using potassium permanganate.
Efforts included contaminated soil delineation, soil and
groundwater contamination sampling, and AST
transport and disposal.

03/2000 - 07/2000, Junior Petrologist,
Mevatec Corporation, White Sands
Missile Range, NM
Responsibilities included providing detailed lithologic
descriptions of well-cuttings from groundwater and
petroleum exploration wells installed in the Tularosa
Basin of New Mexico. All lithologic descriptions were
summarized into tables and reports for an ongoing,
basinwide study of hydrogeology.

Assisted biologists with herpetologic (reptile) survey of
White Sands tvlissile Range that included live capture of
venomous reptiles and nocturnal activity surveys.

SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL, INC.

2

06C 122006T

BRENDON D.J.
