<br />Engineer, he is responsible for the preparation of site
<br />plans, highway plans/profiles, traffic impact studies,
<br />traffic safety studies, parking studies, traffic signal plans,
<br />traffic control plans, tunnel plans, profilc and station
<br />studies; maintenance facility layouts and designs,
<br />technical specifications, construction cost estimates, and
<br />project schedules.

<br />1\[r. Barrack is also involved in the preparation of cost
<br />and technical proposals for military family housing
<br />projects, footprint bridgc projects, and traffic-relatcd
<br />proposals.

<br />Prior to joining Shaw E + I, t\[r. Barrack was the Unit
<br />Manager of traffic operations at HMt\[ Associates, Inc.
<br />where he was responsible for the technical preparation
<br />and budget administration of traffic projects for the
<br />public and private sector. Prior to joining HMM, Mr.
<br />Barrack was a Civil Engineer at Greenhorne and
<br />O'l\Iara, Inc. in Greenbelt, t\ID, where he was
<br />responsible for preparing traffic studies, civil highway
<br />plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

<br />1991 - Present, Senior Lead Engineer,
<br />Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.
<br />FEMA - IA T AC, Bring New Orleans Back, LA.
<br />Project engineer responsible for inspections of City-
<br />owned buildings and compilation of existing
<br />data/reports and preparation of cluantity estimates for
<br />necessary repair work. The inspections included over
<br />100 city-owned buildings, and invoked
<br />repairs/replacement of the roof system, windows,
<br />skylights, walls, and missing or damaged roof mounted
<br />ec!ulpment.

<br />Hanscom Family Housing (client -American Eagle
<br />Design Build Studio). Project t\Ianager responsible
<br />for the civil and utility designs for demolition of 850
<br />housing units and construction of 784 housing units and
<br />5 neighborhood centcrs. The project included design of
<br />8 miles of ncw roachvays, parking arcas, 350 drainage
<br />structures, 8 detention areas and 7 undcrground
<br />infiltration gallerics, firc protection, water distribution
<br />and a sanitary collection system, natural gas, electrical
<br />and communication systems. Our design team also
<br />prepared the documents required to process the State
<br />and local environmental permits. Thc dcsign fce is
<br />confidential (internal client). Site design and
<br />environmental permitting was completed in April 2006.
<br />Construction is planned for mid 2006 through 2010.
<br />
<br />Civil and Transportation Projects Division (Feb
<br />1991 to Present). As Senior Lead Engineer, responsible
<br />for the preparation of the following design projects,
<br />studies and task assignments.
<br />
<br />Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority,
<br />Southampton Street Maintenance Facility
<br />(Contracts E02CN21 and E02CN22). Lead civil
<br />engineer responsible for the preparation of final plans,
<br />specifications, quantity and cost estimates for the new
<br />Silver Linc Bus 1\Iaintenance Facility. The new facility
<br />will house and maintain 77 sixty-foot articulated buses.
<br />The contract required relocation of Moore Street, design
<br />of a 250-car parking garage, maintenance building,
<br />fueling building, wash and degrease building, and a
<br />transportation building. Numerous design issues
<br />included a contaminated site which required extensive
<br />
