<br />busses. Maintenance activities included major
<br />rebuilding, (engines and transmissions), body shop and
<br />painting, engine and chassis dynamomcter testing, as
<br />well as brakcs, tires, alignment, routine servicing, and
<br />emergency repairs.

<br />replacement for the consulate in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil;
<br />rchabilitation of a 16 story office building in Panama;
<br />and a new 50,000 square foot embassy office building in

<br />mcchanical engineer responsiblc for coordinating thc
<br />mechanical effort to revicw the design and start-up
<br />testing of the tunnel ventilation system and firc
<br />protection and drainage systems. This \\lork included all
<br />of the tunnel mechanical systems as well as the
<br />mechanical work on the supporting structures including
<br />the vent buildings, administration building, operations
<br />center, and State Police Station.

<br />determine the ventilation rC(luirements for the lowcr

<br />[ntcmational :\irport. The purpose of thc study is to
<br />determine the ventilation requirements for this area of
<br />the airport and to dc,'clop mechanical and structural
<br />criteria for use in designing systems to maintain
<br />contaminants within acceptable lc,'els.

<br />(Sept 1996 - June 1997). Lead mechanical enginccr for
<br />a project to upgrade the mechanical systems for a bus
<br />maintenance, fueling, and storage facility to
<br />accommodate CNG fueled "chicles.

<br />Hemphill Power Plant HV AC Modifications,
<br />Springfield, New Hampshire - Thermo Energy
<br />Systems (Mar 1996 - JuI1996). Designed pressurizcd
<br />enclosures for the stand by generator and thc electrical
<br />switchgear to protect them from the airbome dust in a
<br />wood/bark buming power station. The systems
<br />included filtered make up air for pressurization and
<br />heating as requircd for winter operation.

<br />IAQ Investigation and HV AC System
<br />Modifications, Cambridge, Massachusetts -
<br />MyoGenics Inc. (Apr 1995 - JuI1995). Project
<br />Engineer for a study to im'estigate indoor air quality
<br />concems for a research laboratory. The project included
<br />air monitoring for the facility, system evaluations, and
<br />design of HV AC modifications to improve air quality in
<br />the office and lab areas.
