As Project Manager responsiblc for the
tcchnical, budget, and schedulc performance of the team
for various projects. Specific tasks included laboratory
renovations at Buildings 1120 & 1128, HV AC analysis of
Buildings 1600 & 1141, and the rcdesign of the entire
HVAC systems for Buildings 1612 & 1624 including the
design of an ice storage facility to serve the chilled water
system.

Rail Facilities Maintenance Rehabilitation, New
Haven, Connecticut - Connecticut DOT (Dec 1987
- Mar 1988). As Lead Mechanical Engineer, t\[r. Case
supelTised the design of all mechanical facilities for the
car shop and diesel shop rehabilitation projects at thc
New Ha"en Rail Yards. \,\'ork includes design of
HV AC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for two
major repair shops including shop arcas, officc areas,
locker rooms, and other personnel areas. He also
provided support for industrial cnginecring including
specialized ventilation, drainage and compresscd air
s\'stems.

Windsor Maintenance Facility, Windsor,
Connecticut - Connecticut DOT (Mar 1988 - Jan
1989). As Lead t\[echanical Engineer, Mr. Case designed
HV AC, plumbing and fire protection systcms for a
highway "chicle maintcnance facility including
preparation of specifications and estimates and
supen'ising the preparation of thc drawings. Post design
,vork consisted of shop drawing review and construction
inspection. Special systems designed included fuel
dispensing and monitoring systems.

Runcorn Coating Facility Gan 1989 to Nov 1990),
Runcorn, United Kingdom - James River Graphics.
As Lead Mechanical Engineer, t\[r. Casc supervised the
design of HV AC, plumbing and fire protection systems
for a film coating facility in the United Kingdom. Work
included specifications, drawings, and estimates. Special
systems included fume collection, class 100 and 1000
clean rooms, low humidity rooms, and fume
incineration. This project required familiarization with
codcs and standards for the United Statcs and United
Kingdom as well as availability of e(luipment overseas.
Mr. Case was in close contact with British contractors
throughout construction and startup.

I SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL, INC.

06G 122006 T

A VLIS Facility (Mar 1984 to Dec 1984), Livermore,
California - Lawrence Livermore Laboratories. As
Lead Mechanical Engineer, t\[r. Case was responsible for
developing the mechanical systems design for a laser-
based uranium cnrichment facility. These systems
included process cooling water, site drainage, HV1\C,
plumbing, and fire protection. The design included
systems to support clean rooms, optical clean rooms,
low humidity optical rooms (3% rh), contamination
containment systems, fire protection, and other safety
systems. t\[r. Case was responsible for interfacing with
the scientists developing the enrichment process to
determinc building and mcchanical system nceds to
support all phases of the process.

North Anna Power Station, Unit 3 (Feb 1982 to Jan
1983), North Anna, Virginia - Virginia Electric
Power Co. As Assistant Project Engineer, Mr. Casc was
rcsponsible for cstablishing and maintaining schedules,
monitoring progress, and providing supelTision for the
mechanical, electrical, con trols, geotechnical, and nuclear
technology disciplines for the project. He coordinatcd
,vith the various divisions to maintain project staffing for
cach group and provided personnel cvaluations to the
divisions. 0.[r. Case cstablishcd a mechanical cquipment
qualification program to establish cm'ironmcntal
qualification standards for the mechanical cquipment
used in safety-related plant systems.

ROY W.
