London has extensi,'c expericnce in
environmental planning/ permitting/licensing,
em'ironmental impact asscssment and mitigation,
directing rcmediation projects, facility siting, and
construction management. Hcr management and
technical skills have been demonstrated on over 45
projects that include utility/transmission lines, highway
and roadway projects, energy (nuclear and fossil)
/industrial facilities, rcmediation sites, major wastcwater
treatment facilities, and water supply facilities.

During her career with Shaw, t\ls. London has served in
various capacities with increasing len~ls of management
responsibilities for projects invoking a wide range of
environmental issues, permitting and licensing
challenges, and multidisciplinary coordination efforts
during all phases of project completion including
planning, design and construction. She has prepared and
coordinated numerous environmental impact documents
(EA, EIS, FONSI, EIR, fSAR), permit and licensing
applications, and cnvironmcntal documcnts to support
construction activities for a ,'ariety of projects in
t\Iassachusetts, Nc,'ada, Minnesota, Virginia, \\'cst
Virginia, IO\va, etc.

Recently, t\[s. London managed and prepared the
environmental sections for two Independent fuel
Storage Installation (ISfSI) Certificates of Need in
Minnesota. These documents, one of which has been
approved, followed [\unnesota Rulcs. Shc also assisted
in the development of a scope and estimate for an Early
Site Permit Application for two new nuclear units at an
existing nuclear power station site and a study to
evaluate alternatives for supplying the future cooling
water needs of the proposed new units and the existing

plant. She also performcd a Siting Study for a
confidcntial client to site up to four new nuclcar units in
Texas.

t\ls. London has held key positions in planning,
permitting, conceptual design, and construction projects
in t\[assachusetts. She managed the preparation of
scveral volumes of the Facilities Plan, and was a member
of the transition team ,vhich successfully moved the
project from dcsign to construction. She completed an
eleven-year field assignment to Deer Island as the
l\utigation Compliancc Supervisor and Regulatory
Compliance t\lanagcr for the t\[assachusctts \'(Tater
Resources I\uthority's (M\\'RA) Boston Harbor Cleanup
Project. She also supervised appronl and renewal of
nearly 400 regulatory agcncy permits and licenscs
required to support the court-ordcred construction
schedule. She scoped and managed impact assessments
on several em'ironmcntally sensiti,'e project
components.

p,ls. London also recently, completed a permitting plan
and em'ironmental impact documents for a 345 kV
electric line in the Boston Area. As part of this project
she also de,'eloped an Em'ironmental J\lanagement
Construction Plan. Shc also complctcd an
Environmental .Assessment and FONSl for the Non
Stockpile systems Contract which addressed thc impacts
of constructing and operating a treatment systcm for DL
and QF Nutralent at a TSDF in Ne,'ada.

Ms. London has also managed three Remedial Action
Contracts (RAC) with the US Army Corps of
Engineers/NE Oi,'ision where she managed staff and
budgct for a TSC-\-compliant cleanup of a building that
will be convertcd into a museum. She has also prepared
an Operations and p,Iaintcnance Plan for a Supcrfund
Site in Massachusetts and prepared and managed the
preparation of closc out documcntation for several
remedial action contracts. She is currently managing the
operations and maintenance at a superfund site in
Massachusetts, which includes monitoring the site to
ensure the integrity of the capped landfill is maintained
and G\,(!, surface water sampling to track contamination.
In addition, l\[s London has managcd two CERCL\-
compliant Fivc- Year Reviews of superfund sites to
ensure remedies at the sites are functioning as intended.
\Vhich shc has managed includes preparation of a

SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL.
