This 21,570 SF facility consists of a 7,890 SF of <br />City Hall Annex with a 150 seat Town Hall multi- <br />purpose space. In conjunction with the Town Hall, <br />the building program contains a city services <br />counter and a mini - police station with 24 hour ser- <br />vice. The Fire Rescue program contains 9,830 <br />SF of active area in the first level and 3,850 SF of <br />area in the second level dormitory areas. The de- <br />sign of this project establishes a coexistence be- <br />tween the more public civic program of the City <br />Hall Annex and the more utilitarian nature of the <br />Fire Rescue facility. A hybrid solution was inevi- <br />table as a result to the combination of program <br />requirements. The civic program has its own 'im- <br />age' while coexisting with the attached Fire Res- <br />cue building. Form is used to define basic pri- <br />mary elements of the project.
