Complete master plan- <br />ning, programming, en- <br />.- gineering and interior <br />design services were <br />provided for the new <br />52,000 sf Public Safety <br />' Building in the Town of <br />Davie, Florida. The <br />n�r ■■ �� building houses the <br />Davie Police Deoart- <br />-- - mentand includes hold- <br />- " ing cells, an investiga- <br />I tions division, a foren- <br />sics department, evi- <br />dence and records stor- <br />age, locker rooms and <br />administrative support <br />spaces. The building also includes anew 12,000 SF Fire <br />Station and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facility. <br />SPHHS Candela DM1M <br />Spillis Candela was later commissioned to design a 2,650 <br />SF Training /Community Room addition to the Public Safety <br />Building. The Community Room leads to a landscaped <br />outdoor plaza which is surrounded by a scenic lake. It is <br />available to residents of the Town of Davie for civic or pub- <br />lic functions. Also designed to function as an Emergency <br />Operations Center, the Community Room is equipped with <br />state -of- the -art communications, security and disaster - <br />proof technologies. <br />
