i Mark R. Clark, C.E.P. Senior Biologist Page 2 Relevant Project Experience: FDOT District I SR 776, this project involved the Project Development and Environmental (PD &E) Study and final design. The roadway was proposed to be widened from two lanes to four lanes and involved wetlands and protected species. The level of documentation for this PD &E Study was a Categorical Exclusion Type 11. This project was unique in that it was privately funded, but developed under FDOT District I standards. • Coronado Construction, Grand Savannah Club, this project involved protected species and wetland assessments and permitting for a proposed apartment complex in St. Lucie County. Specifically, gopher tortoises, Florida scrubjay, and Lakela's mint surveys were performed. In addition, wetland delineation of a forested wetland, mitigation, and a maintenance and monitoring program were developed for this project. FDOT District IV N.W. 21st Street/N.W. 32nd Avenue PD &E, this project involved roadway widening and construction of a new bridge over the Miami River. Contamination, noise, and Miami International Airport's designated flight path were particular issues with this project. The level of documentation for this project was an Environmental Assessment. SFWMD's 50 -acre Pilot Reservoir Study, informal wetland delineation and protected species surveys were required for this project. The project was performed for South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) on District -owned land. The information obtained was incorporated by SFWMD into its permit application. A Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure (WRAP) analysis was performed for this project. In addition, wetland delineation and protected species surveys were performed. FDOT District IV Orangebrook Golf Course, this study involved water quality collection and analysis as well as natural resource data collection. Various water quality parameters, vegetative, avifaunal, benthic, and fisheries data were collected. The purpose of this study was to document existing water quality at this golf course. • FDOT District VI, Miscellaneous Permitting Services, this contract involved miscellaneous permitting services. Services included, but were not necessarily limited to permit applications, wetland delineation, wetland mitigation, plans review, agency coordination, and permitting with SFWMD, USACOE, US Coast Guard, and the Miami -Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management. West Lake Park Phase II, prime consultant for the per- mitting and design of enhancements for this 1,400 -acre estuarine wetland. Services provided included: water quality data analysis, hypothesis development and re- view, sediment analysis, fishery analysis, rip -rap design, benthic macro - invertebrate identification, seagrass sur- vey, mitigation credit determination, negotiation of per- mit modifications, and permitting with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Florida Department of Environ- mental Protection, the South Florida Water Management District, and Broward County Department of Planning and Environmental Protection.
