C. Designate in the construction schedule, or in a separate coordinated <br />' schedule, the dates for submission and the dates that reviewed Shop <br />Drawings, Working Drawings and Samples will be needed. <br />1.03 CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY <br />A. It is the duty of the Contractor to check all drawings, data and <br />samples prepared by or for him before submitting them to the Engineer <br />for review. Each and every copy of the Drawings and data shall bear <br />' Contractor's stamp or will be returned to the Contractor for confor- <br />mance with this requirement. Shop drawings shall indicate any <br />deviations in the submittal from requirements of the Contract Docu- <br />ments. <br />I B. Determine and verify: <br />1. Field measurements <br />2. Field construction criteria <br />3. Catalog numbers and similar data <br />( 4. Conformance and Specifications <br />C. The Contractor shall furnish the Engineer a schedule of Shop Drawing <br />submittals fixing the respective dates for the submission of shop and <br />working drawings, the beginning of manufacture, testing and <br />installation of materials, supplies and equipment. This schedule shall <br />' indicate those that are critical to the progress schedule. <br />09/03 <br />01340 -2 03- 4138.A -R <br />D. The Contractor shall not begin any of the work covered by a drawing, <br />data, or a sample returned for correction until a revision or correction <br />thereof has been reviewed and returned to him, by the Engineer <br />' <br />approved. <br />E. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer all drawings and schedules <br />sufficiently in advance of construction requirements to provide no less <br />than twenty -one (21) calendar days for checking and appropriate <br />action from the time the Engineer receives them. <br />F. The Contractor shall submit three (3) copies of descriptive or product <br />data submittals to complement shop drawings for the Engineer plus <br />' <br />the number of copies which the Contractor requires. The Engineer will <br />retain three (3) sets. All blueprint shop drawings shall be submitted <br />with one (1) set of reproducible and four (4) sets of print. The <br />Engineer will review the drawings and return to the Contractor the set <br />of marked -up drawings with appropriate review comments. <br />i <br />09/03 <br />01340 -2 03- 4138.A -R <br />
