1 <br />Construction material waste, debris, organic material and unsuitable fill <br />material excavated from required on -site excavations shall be removed from <br />the site. Location of dumps and length of haul shall be the responsibility of <br />CONTRACTOR. Disposal to be in COUNTY approved dump site. <br />2.8 CONTROL OF WATER: <br />A. At all times during work until completion and final acceptance, ample means <br />and equipment shall be provided with which to remove promptly and dispose <br />of properly all standing water that would interfere with the Work. <br />B. Water pumped or drained from the Work shall be disposed of in a suitable <br />manner without damage to adjacent property. Water shall not be discharged <br />onto streets. <br />C. Any and all water damage shall be promptly repaired by CONTRACTOR at <br />his expense. <br />2.9 SHORING AND SHEETING: <br />A. Excavations shall be shored, sheeted and braced as necessary to <br />accomplish the work in a safe efficient manner and/or to protect existing <br />construction. Construction of shoring shall be in accordance with all <br />applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements. <br />CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all damage to persons or property <br />resulting from the omission of necessary shoring, sheeting and bracing. <br />B. Sheeting and bracing shall be removed as the excavation is refilled in such a <br />manner as to avoid caving in the bank or disturbance to adjacent areas or <br />structures.
