AS1-A <br />Landscape Designer <br />Mr. Michael Leary is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts <br />Amherst with a B.A. in Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning <br />He also is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Construction <br />Management at Florida International University. While working for the <br />Parker Yannette Design Group, he focused on high -end residential <br />design where meeting the demands of his clients' specific needs and <br />goals was a top priority. Since joining Carter & Burgess, Mr. Leary's <br />professional development has expanded to large scale projects that <br />focus on site design and planning. <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />Avery Glen, D.R. Horton, Sunrise, Fl; Landscape Designer. Carter & <br />Burgess provided landscape architecture, site planning, engineering, <br />and survey services for a 105 -unit active adult community. <br />North Hutchinson Island, FL; Landscape Designer. Landscape <br />architectural services for mixed -use site on North Hutchinson Island, <br />Florida. Mr. Leary provided color rendering for the client. <br />Cambridge Park, Lennar Communities, Oakland Park, FL; Landscape <br />Designer. Carter & Burgess provided final design services for a 15 -acre, <br />186 -unit townhouse development which included site layout, landscape <br />architecture, lighting, and irrigation design. <br />City of Oakland Park, 1 -95 / Oakland Park Boulevard Interchange <br />Improvements, Oakland Park, FL; Landscape Designer. The City of <br />Oakland Park, with the City of Wilton Manors, has commissioned Carter <br />& Burgess to prepare conceptual plans for the interchange of Oakland <br />Park Blvd and 1 -95 in central Broward County. This interchange serves as <br />a 'Gateway' to both Cities and is being cooperatively funded by FDOT <br />under their own 'Greening Gateways' initiative. The interchange covers <br />over 50 acres, and carries some of the highest daily traffic volumes in <br />South Florida. Mr. Leary assisted in the preparation of the landscape <br />plans. <br />City of Oakland Park, Powerline Road Improvements, Oakland Park, <br />FL; Landscape Designer. In connection with the Broward Beautification <br />Program, Carter & Burgess provided designs for the highway median <br />beautification along Powerline Road. Mr. Leary assisted in the <br />preparation of the landscape plans. <br />Cooper City Commons, Centerline Homes, Plantation, FL; Landscape <br />Designer. Carter & Burgess provided landscape architectural services <br />for a 50 -unit two- and three - bedroom townhome community that <br />includes illustrative plans /renderings of the main entrance, recreation <br />area, overall site, and buildings. The illustrations include character <br />elevations of the entrance and schematic design of the recreation <br />area, perimeter walls, and buffer cross- sections.
