D. In the event that the manufacturer is unwilling to provide a one year <br />warranty commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor <br />shall obtain from the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty starting at the <br />time of Owner acceptance of the equipment. <br />1.05 HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS PLAN <br />A. Within ten days of the date of Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall <br />submit to the Engineer and Owner a Hurricane Preparedness Plan. The <br />plan should outline the necessary measures, which the Contractor <br />proposes to perform at no additional cost to the Owner in case of a <br />hurricane warning. <br />B. In the event of inclement weather or whenever the Engineer shall direct; the <br />Contractor will cause Subcontractors to protect carefully the Work and <br />materials against damage or injury from the weather. If, in the opinion of <br />the Engineer, any portion of Work or materials shall have been damaged or <br />injured by reason of failure on the part of Contractor or any Subcontractor to <br />so protect the Work, such Work and materials shall be removed and <br />replaced at the expense of the Contractor. <br />1.06 EQUIPMENT, TESTING & INSPECTION <br />A. Regardless of the number of days specified in the individual sections for the <br />manufacturers representative to be present on the site for inspection and <br />testing, if the equipment fails to perform as specified then the representative <br />' shall remain on site until the malfunction is corrected and the Owner <br />received specified days of inspection or testing. <br />B.
