mechanical equipment, yard piping, electrical system, instrumentation <br />system and irrigation. <br />06/06 <br />01340 -6 <br />03-4138.0 <br />1.06 WORKING DRAWINGS <br />A. <br />When used in the Contract Documents, the term "working drawings" shall <br />be considered to mean the Contractor's plans for temporary structures <br />such as temporary bulkheads, support of open cut excavation, support of <br />utilities, ground water control systems, forming and false -work; for <br />underpinning; and for such other work as may be required for <br />construction, but does not become an integral part of the project. <br />B. <br />Copies of working drawings as noted in subparagraph 1.06A above, shall <br />be submitted to the Engineer where required by the Contract Documents <br />or requested by the Engineer, and shall be submitted at least thirty (30) <br />calendar days (unless otherwise specified by the Engineer) in advance of <br />their being required for work. <br />C. <br />Working drawings shall be signed by a Registered Professional Engineer, <br />currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida and shall convey, or <br />be accompanied by, calculation or other sufficient information to <br />completely explain the structure, machine, or system described and its <br />intended manner of use. Prior to commencing such work, working <br />drawings must have been reviewed without specific exceptions by the <br />' <br />Engineer, which review will be for general conformance and will not <br />relieve the Contractor in any way from his responsibility with regard to the <br />fulfillment of the terms of the Contract. All risks of error are assumed by <br />the Contractor; the Owner and Engineer shall have no responsibility <br />therefore. <br />' <br />1.07 SAMPLES <br />A. <br />The Contractor shall furnish, for the approval of the Engineer, samples <br />required by the Contract Documents or requested by the Engineer. <br />Samples shall be delivered to the Engineer as specified or directed. The <br />Contractor shall prepay all shipping charges on samples.
