Director of Engineering responsible for inspection, recommendations, design, and construction <br />management of improvements to the city drainage systems. Duties included modeling, pipe sizing, studies and <br />storm water permits issued by various Drainage Districts and South Florida Water Management. <br />Drainage Designs: School Boards of Broward, Miami -Dade, Okeechobee, and Palm Beach Counties, <br />Florida. Director of Engineering responsible for site design, storm water treatment for quality and quantity for many <br />schools, maintenance facilities, and county properties. <br />Drainage Designs: Commercial Projects by Private Developers. Director of Engineering in charge of <br />residential and commercial developments including Stage /Storage, Pump Stations, Drainage Collection, <br />Retention /Detention, and Exfiltration Trench Design. <br />Drainage Study: Hendry County Water Management Study, Florida. Project engineer responsible for the <br />drainage studies and recommendations for upgrades of existing system to reduce depth and longevity of flooding. <br />FDOT District 4: Andrews Avenue Roadway Improvements - Broward County, Florida. Project engineer <br />for reevaluation and design of roadway improvements including drainage problems. Completed plans for turn lanes, <br />pavement milling, and drainage revisions to alleviate flooding to adjacent properties. <br />FDOT District 4: SR -714 Grade Separation Study: (Dixie Highway and FEC Railroad) - Broward County, <br />Florida. Project engineer for evaluation of several roadway separation designs for Dixie Highway, SR -714, and FEC <br />Railroad. The study consisted of preliminary design, cost estimates, and exhibits for Public Hearings by the <br />Department. Project included Bridges, elevated ramps, signalization, pavement markings, drainage, and pavement <br />design. <br />FDOT District 6: Biscayne Boulevard - Miami -Dade County, Florida. Project engineer analyzing utility <br />relocation, lighting, paving, grading, and drainage requirements. Represented FDOT for condemnation and <br />assessed proposed right -of -way acquisitions of commercial properties to establish values. <br />Roadway Improvements: McNab Road - Broward County, Florida. Project engineer for design of roadway <br />improvements and drainage. Completed plans for turn lanes, pavement milling, and drainage improvements to serve <br />adjacent commercial properties. <br />Roadway Improvements: Pine Island Road - Broward County, Florida. Project engineer for roadway <br />improvements and drainage design. Completed plans for widening, turn lanes, pavement milling, pavement design, <br />and drainage improvements. Coordinated signalization, access, and landscaping. <br />Roadway Widening: Wolff Roadway - Okeechobee County, Florida. Project engineer for the design of <br />roadway widening, intersections, access drives, pavement design for milling and resurfacing, signage, permitting, <br />pavement markings, and signalization. Coordination of Landscaping and City concerns with adjacent properties. <br />Site Development: Terminal Parking Garage - Palm Beach International Airport, Florida. Project <br />manager responsible for the civil engineering and construction services for the 3900 - vehicle Parking Garage No. 2 <br />expansion at the Airport. Designs include the geometry, alignment, and connections to several existing roadways. <br />Services included drainage and utility modifications as well as coordination of site lighting and landscaping. <br />Site Development: Multi -Level Parking Structure - Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. <br />• Project manager supervising the civil engineering services for a multi -level parking structure. Design tasks included <br />the paving, grading, and drainage from the site to the adjacent roadways. Project required special considerations for <br />• green areas and permitting issues through various SFWMD and LWDD. <br />
