�_alvin, Giordano IV Associates, . <br />• Weston Road /Arvida Parkway Corridor Enhancement Study, Weston, Florida. Multi -task project <br />focused on developing a cost - feasible program for Weston Road Corridor, including Parkway /Weston Road <br />• intersection and Arvida/ 1 -75 interchange. Analysis included trip generation and a revised Equitable Increment III <br />(Park of Commerce) DRI development program as well as subarea forecasting corridor traffic demand within the <br />five -year and buildout year planning horizons. Used Broward County Buildout (FSUTMS) Model for this task. <br />• Determined new signal locations along corridor based on side street forecasts and incorporated data into the <br />• future capacity analysis using ART PLAN. Final improvement program components were included in the DRI <br />Development Order and the City's Five -Year Capital Improvements Program. Funding for improvements and new <br />• signals were identified through a combination of developer, City, and proportionate -share funding sources. <br />SR -A1 A Corridor Study from Ft. Pierce to Vero Beach, FDOT, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties, <br />Florida. Multi -task, multi - jurisdictional project involved comprehensive assessment and recommendations for <br />the two -lane portions of SR -A1 A through Hutchinson Island /Orchid Island. Evaluated intergovernmental policy <br />issues, traffic characteristics data collection, existing conditions analysis, subarea model forecasting, future <br />conditions analysis, hurricane evacuation modeling, and recommended improvements. Recommendations <br />maximized operational efficiency at signalized intersections, while minimizing need for four - laning mainline SR- <br />A1A while addressing social issues associated with the barrier islands. Recommended improvements were <br />adopted in the FDOT Five -Year Work Program and corresponding MPO Capital improvements Program. <br />General Traffic Engineering and Planning Services, Miramar, Florida. Served as Development Review <br />Committee (DRC) reviewer for transportation and traffic engineering components of site plans, engineering <br />plans, and land use plan applications submitted to the City. Reviews include traffic impact and trip generation <br />analyses, traffic operations, site access /circulation, stacking /queuing analysis, marking review, geometric <br />considerations, safety compliance with the Miramar and Broward County Land Development Code (Trafficways <br />Standards), and FDOT Standards. <br />Broward Central Catholic High School (Site Planning, Concurrency, FDOT Access Management), <br />Florida. Worked with Broward County Traffic Engineering School Safety Coordinator to provide suitable access <br />and circulation for proposed school. Provided traffic analysis for proposed Griffin Road improvements to satisfy <br />concurrency requirements for regional roadway network. Developed conceptual access management plan and <br />design with FDOT to meet requirements of Rule Chapter 14 -96 and 14 -97 on the State Highway System <br />(Flamingo Road) and obtain favorable review for permitting. <br />1- 75/Pines Boulevard Interchange Operations Analysis Report, FDOT/Private Developer, Florida. <br />Analyzed 1 -75 /Pines Boulevard ramp interchange modifications associated with a local DRI. Signalization <br />parameter and merge /weaving operations were analyzed to determine parameters of ramp terminals. Report <br />documents were approved by FDOT and FHWA for implementation. <br />
