Associates, <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION <br />Mr. Pippitt has 32 years of experience in highway engineering and is CGA's Director of B.S. Civil Engineering, <br />Highway Design. His primary area of expertise is highway design, work zone traffic, quality Newark College of <br />control and project management. Mr. Pippitt's experience in managing transportation Engineering (NJIT), <br />projects has included more than 90 projects. His extensive experience includes bridge Newark, New Jersey <br />replacement, bridge rehabilitation, new roadway construction, widening and reconstruction, <br />milling and resurfacing and several traffic capacity and safety improvement projects. Prior to PROFESSIONAL <br />joining CGA, Mr. Pippitt served in the capacity of Deputy District Design Engineer in the REGISTRATION <br />Florida Department of Transportation's District IV office for 10 years. His responsibilities <br />included managing the District's Quality Control section, acting as the District Pavement Registered Professional <br />Design Engineer, District Estimates Engineer and District Specifications Engineer. He also Engineer, <br />served 9 years as a project manager with FDOT. State of Florida <br />No. 33878 <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />State of New Jersey <br />Design <br />No. GE028506 <br />Registered Professional <br />Planner <br />1 -95 from the Bridge over the Hillsboro Canal to South of Linton Boulevard, Palm <br />State of New Jersey No. <br />Beach County Florida (2/26/03 - 6/15/05). Acting as Engineer of Record Mr. Pippitt <br />L1002752 <br />was in responsible charge of all design elements of the roadway design. Mr. Pippitt <br />designed the cross slope correction of 8 -lane and 10 -lane divided sections. He designed <br />retrofitting the Interstate to upgraded design standards including an expanded clear zone <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />width, and guardrail advancement. Mr. Pippitt redesigned the entrance ramp, at the Yamato <br />REGISTRATION <br />Road interchange, to provide increased vehicular storage and acceleration distance for <br />Florida Engineering <br />merging traffic. He designed the work zone traffic control plan. The improvements were <br />Society <br />constructed at night with minimal lane closures to minimize impacts to traffic. Mr. Pippitt <br />provided direction and review of other design features including the addition of noise walls, <br />National Society <br />milling and resurfacing of 8 miles of interstate highway, drainage, shoulder widening, other <br />Professional Engineers <br />interchange improvements, maintenance of traffic, signing and marking. His services also <br />Institute of Transportation <br />included responding to BFI's and reviews of Shop drawings throughout construction. <br />Engineers <br />($15,000,000) <br />American Society of <br />Highway Engineers <br />1 -95 at Oakland Park Blvd, Broward County, Florida (10/22/02 - 10/8/04). Acting as <br />Engineer of Record Mr. Pippitt was in responsible charge of all design elements of the <br />roadway design. Mr. Pippitt designed the Maintenance of Traffic for the Design of the <br />widening of Oakland Park Blvd and ramp reconstruction for the 1 -95 interchange to provide <br />for triple left turns from the southbound to eastbound ramp and triple right turns on the <br />northbound to eastbound ramp. Mr. Pippitt provided direction and review of other design <br />features including signalization, lighting, bridge widening, signing and pavement markings <br />and utility coordination. His services also included responding to BFI's and reviews of Shop <br />drawings throughout construction. <br />1 -75 at Arvida Parkway (now Royal Palm Boulevard), Broward County, Florida <br />(10/21/02 - 5/9/05). Acting as Engineer of Record Mr. Pippitt was in responsible charge of <br />all design elements of the roadway design. Mr. Pippitt designed the maintenance of traffic <br />plan for the urbanization of the interchange which included widening and realignment of the <br />southbound to westbound off -ramp from a free flow condition to a signalized intersection. <br />His services also included responding to BFI's and reviews of Shop drawings throughout <br />construction. <br />
