This project encompassed the design of <br />a milling and resurfacing, utility coordination, signing and pavement marking, signalization and lighting. <br /> <br />NW 25th Street, Final Roadway Design, Miami-Dade County, FL (2000-2006). Mr. Alfonso is the Quality <br />Control Engineer responsible for the overall quality control of all design activities. This is a two mile urban <br />arterial at grade, also including a direct viaduct connector between west of SR 826 and the Miami <br />International Airport West Cargo Area. Mr. <br />Alfonso was the Quality Control Engineer, and was responsible for the overall quality control of all design <br />operations. His significant professional expertise contributed to the production of a high quality project by <br />reviewing all documents prior to each submittal, following specific procedures. Mr. Alfonso checked the <br />roadway design; signing and pavement marking plan for accuracy, adequacy, legibility and clarity of <br />presentation. His review comments were referred to project management for corrections or responses, to <br />integrate management and production efforts and obtain a quality final product satisfactory to FDOT.
